Apologies to Joe Trombetta

by PrepSports

Posted by Staff Writer Eric Branch:
I wrote in today’s paper that Fort Bragg’s Jake Cimolino is second on the Empire’s career rushing list to Tomales’ Chris Ludlow (5,418 yards). I was wrong. Dead wrong. Incorrect. Mistaken.
Casa Grande’s Joe Trombetta has the Empire’s rushing record with 5,447 yards. Apologies to Joe, and his fans who politely wrote to let me know that, yes, I am, in this case, an idiot.

with all the stories about scholarships almost all focused on football you should put some attention to girls sports. Jackie Taylor had a thousand offers form every where you can imagine. natalee simon got the biggest scholarship ever offerd in Dominguez hills history. Just short of a full ride with all paid but one semester, of course the last one. She had many offers including SSU that offered her as much as they could. Dominguez Hills lost in the national championship game last fall and returns all the good players and should go all the way next year. Many soccer/basketball player have gotten pretty good deals and you should acknowledge that. What about scholastic scholarships the most important of all.
