New offense. Different result.

If Windsor can pull of the win against Petaluma do they have any chance of winning the SCL title since they did just lose to Casa?

Windsor beats Petaluma it will be a three way tie for first Friday Night, so yes they still have a chance. The tie would be between Windsor, Petaluma and the Casa-Healdsburg winner

Adding these Rankings..I really don’t see how a NBL team can be rated higher then any of the top four of the SCL. Not this year…

Come on Joe. Monty lost to Casa by a single point while Windsor was destroyed. Montgomery rates better than Windsor for now.

if anyone has watched windsor play this year they would know that they have not been running the spread offense. if they actually started running that offense, i HAVENT SEEN ANY OTHER TEAMS THAT WOULD BE ABLE TO COVER THEM..WINDSOR IS A PASSING TEAM and the 4 wrs they have a tough. casa didt blow windsor away. field postion and the lack of adjustments where what hurt them..i would be so bold to bet that if windsor and casa played again. windsor would win…DJ king has to be up for player of the year, vanbebber on defense is leading the league in tackles and michael campbell is the best defensive back ive seen.

Newman needs to be bounced from this list, I think its just hard for people to realized that Newman has fallen from a state power. Im not dissing Newman, but this isnt their year…

Windsor wasn’t really destroyed by Casa…sometimes the scores can be deceiving…I didn’t expect much agreement…

Windsor Fan, first, Kahlil Keys, probably the best running back in the league, didn’t play the second half against Windsor. Second, it doesn’t matter what Windsor is capable of, but rather, what they do on the field. That’s why they play the games.

Windsor Fan, Windsor was blown away. They were losing 31-7 at one point and your score came on your first drive. And if you have heard anything about Casa this year, they are extremely vulnerable to the run. If Windsor came out in the spread and tried to pass, they would have been playing into the strength of Casa’s defense. Also, your defense could not manage to stop Casa’s offense in any way. By the way, field position is a key to generating offense and stopping the other team on defense, so by you saying you had no field position states that you could do neither one of those things. Casa as you saw, also didn’t have Kahlil Keys for most of the game. Don’t pout, DJ King is a good player, but player of the year goes to Sean Sullivan of Petaluma, no doubt.

Is this pre-season and regular season put together? Isn’t Carrillo over Newman right now for 2 weeks now in real season? Same wins/losses but carrillo has higher PA? Im confused — educate me please.

new offense…different result? Don’t you mean to say…New Offense, not exactly working.

Carrillo has never been on top of Newman, I’m not sure where you got that from. Perfect point is Santa Rosa. Regardless of what anyone ‘thinks’, Santa Rosa beat Carrillo, 23-20. Newman beat Santa Rosa 28-14, end of story. The points in the Rancho game have nothing to do with anything…

Actually Carrillo is tied for second with Newman in the NBL race. Confused…Real season I’m guess you mean league..both teams are 3-1. The standings for the teams in the rankings are pre-season, which is actually pre-league + league play…Hope that clears it up for you..

to the casa grad, if playing into casas strength would have been to open up the passing game, then why did michael campbell have so many catches and get open every time they threw him the ball.. Im sorry but i will give you this. Your coach scouted windsor very well. but if they should play again in the playoffs. ……windsor will win!!!!

The rankings don’t mean a whole lot right now…..two big weeks and they mean alot. Clearly Petaluma and Casa are in the right order and the rest is up for debate. I watched CN in those three preseason losses and I don’t think anyone could have competed with Del Oro (or play tough in the other games)just like Monty didn’t with Grant but they showed up and played hard against much superior talent. It will be good for those schools to know what a really big tough team feels like …..that said, it’s not a CN ‘typical’ year but that is what makes all this fun chasing those playoff spots…..and yes, you can’t discount MC as there offense is really clicking.

Windsor Fan, once again you are not listening. The only reason they were getting receptions towards the end of the game is because all you did was pass. We sacked DJ King several times, and he also threw two interceptions. Casa would gladly take that rather then a team run all over them and beat them up. I hope Windsor plays Casa again, just so Casa can put up 45 points like they should have this game instead of being conservative and running inside the 20.

MC offense is clicking they scored 20 against Ukiah, 2 field goals in that score. They will lose to Monty and then CN. SCL is much better then NBL this year, PERIOD.

Windsor Fan, you are the typical sore loser. Can’t you just roll with it and say, “Yeah we got beat”??? No excuses please.

Petaluma will dominate Windsor. I will predict a 42-14 win for the Trojans. The “west side gang” has all of this east siders respect. They took it to us. I will back them if they go beyond Casa in the play offs.

It is nice to see the “West Side Gang” roll during the regular season, and if they win NCS should be considered for a State Championship birth. Too bad they do not have one ‘play in’ game to go to the state championship.

Thanks Ben and Joe for the responses. Joe that clears it up a lot. I thought that was what the deal was with CN and MC. Of course we all have 2 more games left so that will tell a lot. Thanks again.
